Bill Sponsor’s Summary:

This bill will "codify the right of parents to opt their minor children into classes where
the children will view or discuss materials related to sexuality.... [while] teachers will not have to obtain parental consent for children to participate in a sex education class dealing strictly with the anatomy and physiology of human reproduction."

My Biggest Concern:

Many children, especially those from struggling homes, will lose out when their parents - unable to closely track the pacing of the school curriculum - fail to opt their children in.
